The Caribs Are Coming


On Tuesday 22nd May, the Anguilla Stingray Music Programme will be hosting a group of Caribs at Triple Crown Culture Yard. The group who will be sailing from Dominca by canoe, will conduct workshops in calabash craft and drumming for students from 1.00 to 3.00 p.m. and will perform from 3.00 to 4.00 p.m.


Students interested in participating should give their names to class teachers who will make arrangements for their attendance.


The afternoon’s event is being supported by the Anguilla National Trust and by the Government of Anguilla’s Department of Youth and Culture.

Resumption of Wednesday night Reasonings


Wednesday night reasonings will resume at the Athlyi Rogers Study Centre on Wednesday 23rd May from 7.00 to 10.00 p.m.

The topic for discussion on Wednesday 23rd is "Whatever Happened to the Rasta Revolution?"


Topics for subsequent reasonings will be determined by participant interests so participate and let us raise national consciousness on matters of self-knowledge and self-determination.


The Athlyi Rogers Study Centre is located at Triple Crown Culture Yard, behind the Church of God (Holiness) Pre-School in The Valley.
